OVERVIEW OF THE RENEWAL BROKER ROLE:
- Proactively engage with clients to discuss policy renewals and any changes in coverage needs.
- Analyze and evaluate current policy performance and provide tailored recommendations.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to negotiate favorable terms.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns throughout the renewal process.
- Identify cross-selling or up-selling opportunities where relevant.
- Keep updated on industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE RENEWAL BROKER:
- 1 year of experience in insurance brokerage, ideally with a focus on renewals.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- [Preferred] Professional insurance certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM, CIC) are a plus.
